What's the initial step? What essentials should you gather? How does the web design process unfold? Explore these four sequential stages!

step 2

Signed Agreement

Carefully review, sign, and send back our concise 1-page Agreement to confirm your commitment.

step 3

Domain Ideas

Which .com domain name resonates with you? Do you have any creative notions? Generate a few options, and we'll do the same. We'll verify their accessibility. After you decide on a domain, commit to it (avoid alterations). Rest assured, we'll handle the domain registration process for you.

step 2

Signed Agreement

Carefully review, sign, and send back our concise 1-page Agreement to confirm your commitment.

step 3

Domain Login

To facilitate our work, we require access to your domain name. Optionally, we can relocate it to our server for enhanced security. Some potential domain hosts include GoDaddy, NameCheap, and Network Solutions.

step 3

Webpage Login

What is the login to your current website? We need this to redesign and update it. Possible companies that host your website are GoDaddy, HostGator and BlueHost.

Step 2 - Concepts and Creation

Color Scheme

Which colors do you envision for your website? Drawing inspiration from your logo's hues is a great initial step. The selection of colors should be deliberate, aiming to effectively communicate the intended emotions and atmosphere of the site. Do you lean towards an eco-friendly vibe? Perhaps a dynamic and vibrant tone? Or maybe something soothing and tranquil?

Photos

Provide Your Finest High-Definition Images: Share your top-quality HD photos for your website. Remember, larger sizes are preferable for optimal results.

Methods for Digital Delivery: You can utilize platforms such as Dropbox, Google Drive, or OneDrive. Alternatively, you can send them via email or text.

Design

Do you have any websites you admire? Regardless of whether they're within your industry, this insight is invaluable! Share examples that resonate with you, offering us a glimpse into your vision for your website's aesthetics and content.

Pages

Selecting Your Website's Pages: Which pages do you envision for your website? Consider options like Home, About Us, Services, Products, Testimonials, Photo Gallery, and Contact.

Your Space for Creativity: Feel free to include any pages that align with your vision. This is your unique website, after all!

Content

Please provide us with the content meant for each page. For the "About Us" section, send over a couple of paragraphs and accompanying photos that illuminate your company's history and narrative. Regarding the "Contact" page, please share your current contact particulars. Lastly, for the "Gallery," we'll need the images you'd like to feature.

Logo

Submit Your Logo: Please provide your logo in any of the following formats: EPS, PDF, PNG, or high-resolution JPG.

No Logo Yet? Not a Problem: Should you not have a logo, worry not. Our experts are here to assist! We can craft a tailored, professional logo exclusively for your brand.

Step 3 - Webpage Mockup

Once you've provided all the necessary details, we initiate the construction of your website! Yes, you can absolutely monitor our progress by accessing a dedicated link we'll provide for the work-in-progress.

Typically, within 1-2 weeks, we'll present you with a mockup. Our efficiency shines through! When we're prepared to unveil our work, we'll promptly notify you and share a link to the mockup.

At this juncture, many individuals are enamored by their initial glimpse – after all, we are skilled professionals. However, remember that the mockup is just a preliminary representation; it's not the final product. This means that if any element doesn't resonate with you, that's perfectly alright! You retain full freedom to request any modifications you desire. Displeased with colors, layout, or specific text sections? Jot down the changes you envision, and we'll continue refining the site.

It's advisable to inspect the site on your desktop computer initially – that's how we design it initially (not optimized for mobile viewing). Exploring the mobile version might reveal some unconventional design rendering.

Clients have found it convenient to list changes in an email or a Word Document. Structuring the changes by page can aid in organization.

Remember, don't hesitate to voice your preferences. Your satisfaction matters most, and we're not easily disheartened. This is your website, and you should take immense pride in its final form.

After a few rounds of revisions, the site will be poised for finalization and launch. Onward to Step 4!

Step 4 - Final Edits and Launching

Now that we've collaborated through several rounds of revisions, the website should align with your preferences.

At this juncture, we initiate several actions to "launch" the website:

- Adapt it for Mobile: Optimizing its presentation for tablets and smartphones.
- Thorough Review: Scrutinizing each page and element meticulously for design and content.
- Domain Publication: Publishing the website to your chosen domain name.
- Strengthening Security: Implementing security measures to fortify the site against potential hackers.
- Search Engine Submission: Ensuring the website's visibility by submitting it to search engines, notably Google.
- Analytical Insight: Installing analytics tracking for valuable insights.
- Uptime Monitoring: Configuring regular website monitoring for uninterrupted operation.
- Reliable Backups: Establishing routine website backups for safety.

Note that many of these tasks pertain to the website's backend and aren't visible on the frontend.

If the final 50% balance hasn't been settled yet, it's due upon the site's launch.

For the Website Care Service, if it isn't billed already, it will commence on the 1st of the next month. Feel free to provide your credit card information for payment.

We would greatly appreciate an honest testimonial about your experience with Walker Consulting. While we typically request Google reviews, we also welcome feedback on Facebook or LinkedIn.

Additionally, we might include your website in our Digital Portfolio, showcasing our collaborative achievement.
